Main functions of sensors

The functions of sensors are often compared to the five major sensory organs of humans:

Photosensor - Vision

Sound sensitive sensor - auditory perception

Gas Sensor - Olfactory

Chemical Sensor - Taste

Sensor (Figure 1)

Pressure sensitive, temperature sensitive, fluid sensors - tactile

Classification of sensitive components:

Physics based on physical effects such as force, heat, light, electricity, magnetism, and sound.

Chemistry is based on the principles of chemical reactions.

Biological class, based on molecular recognition functions such as enzymes, antibodies, and hormones.
